In February 2016 the marae trustees applied for funding with Lotteries Grant - Marae Heritage and Facilities to complete a Feasibility Study to start the long awaited journey of rebuilding our Marae. We were successful in our application and received funding for this purpose in May 2016. We then sought out three draftsman to see who would be the best fit for us. Paul Hayman was the successful candidate and in Dec 2016 completed our Feasibility Study. This Feasibility study is extemely important to us as without this we are unable to seek further funding with Foundation North. The Marae Trustees will present the Feasibility Study to the Marae Beneficiaries in Febraury 2017.
